They get on that feeder from every possible angle - down from above, up from below and over from the sides. (We have too many trees to prevent them from getting to the feeders so we just let them have at it. :)
Yeah, we'll have to be careful of that this year. This is the first year I've had feeders since the bear started showing up a year or so ago. Not sure how this'll go. Don't suppose you know when I should bring them in, do you?
All I know for sure is that I always wait a bit too long. It's probably once the weather starts getting above freezing more and once the snow is all gone. A lot of times I'll hear something on the local news saying bears have been seen too.

I know they are just rats with furry tails, but they are so cute and entertaining.They deserve to munch away on goodies.
