We have rabbits. We have a fenced in area for Bella. The rabbits and Bella often occupy the same space. This makes for a precarious situation for the rabbits. So we cut holes in the bottom of Bella's fencing to let the rabbits come and, more importantly, go - quickly - when they have to. Bella is not impressed.

Aw Bella! We have TONS of rabbits here... Our old cat was great at catching them but Shiner not so much. I watched her sneak up on a rabbit for 5 minutes once... she wasn't successful.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any of our rabbits for ages. I always make sure they're close to the fence and aware they've been spotted before I let the dogs out. Gives the dogs some fun and the rabbits live to tease another day :) Looks like Bella enjoys some bunny fun too!
ReplyDeleteThat does not matter in my yard. I am fast and I am always catching wabbits. Lately the word about me seems to have spread as we are not seeing many wabbits in our yard anymore.
ReplyDeleteSo cute

That's a really great idea! We had lots of rabbits in our old neighborhood, but they (wisely) avoided our yard. Our neighbor's dog (an 80+ pound mixed breed) would see a rabbit out in her yard and refuse to go outside! We could never decide if she was scared or ???
ReplyDeleteHahahah! Living in harmony is tough Bella!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, Bella does not look very happy about the situation! Rabbits are something we rarely see in our yard, since most of it is fenced off for the dogs. Wouldn't they love it if we did though.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have rabbits but we have lots of squirrels! Maybe rabbits would be more fun to chase than the squirrels!
ReplyDelete"Oh mom...you let them FREE. :-( "
ReplyDeleteBella most certainly does not look impressed!
ReplyDeleteOh, that is torture! Although I wouldn't mind too much as long as the bunnies leave some of those tasty brown treats behind ;)
ReplyDeleteWe have a few rabbits, but they are INFINITELY faster than our little legs can carry us.
ReplyDeleteThey like our garden... a lot...
