Great picture, Leslie! I love how the grass was blurred while your two sweet angels stand out. I'm sure this was probably by accident, but some accidents just make the prettiest most memorable pictures.
Thanks Haopee. Yes, if it had been the picture I really was trying for, the grass would have been blurred but BOTH dogs would have been in focus. Ah well, at least both dogs were in the shot - for me that's a plus. ;)
Not quite, although that dog is also a Golden. This is the dog park we can't go to anymore (another long story that...)
A lot of things went into making Bella a little schizo with other dogs. But mostly it's a combination of 3 things: 1) her natural fear, 2) a failure on our part to keep up her socialization opportunities (due to personal crises and the loss of this particular field) and 3) attacks from a neighbor's dog in Bella's own house and yard. (Long story...)
She still loves to play with other dogs but we have to be very, very careful during the introductions (she still LOVES Gus, for example).
I promise there will be a blog post about all that coming...
What a great picture!
ReplyDeleteAww, looks like fun! They're both too cute and I love that their names match, maybe my Ella should join in! ;P
ReplyDeleteAction shot...wotten waven!
ReplyDeleteAh, such a fun picture!!

Your pal Snoopy :)
I belatedly realised (after Jordan) how wonderful it is to have LOTS of pictures. That must have been a good walk. Hugs x

ReplyDeleteThanks! I miss going to the park where I could get opportunities like this...
ReplyDeleteThey were very cute together. And yes, I think Ella would make a fine addition to their little pack. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't get too many of those and when I do it's usually just Bella's back end. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Snoopy! (Yes, I'm a little late on my replies here. ;) Hope you're making lots of mischief!
ReplyDeleteDitto that. Bella has to be the most photographed dog in the world at this point. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was a good day.
It was - Bella used to love puppies. (Now I think she still would but some of them overwhelm her.)
ReplyDeleteIt's a farm field so let's just call it 'very well fertilized'. ;) We can't play there any more but it used to be a LOT of fun.

ReplyDeleteHappiness, too, yes.
ReplyDeleteThanks. It was a fun day.
ReplyDeleteAh summer, right? Green and sunny. Can't wait for it this year.
ReplyDeleteYou're a peach Deccy and your mums, too. Thanks for thinking of us. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Roo. I do so wish Stella had been a little more in focus though... Oh well, at least I got MY dog in focus this time. ;)
ReplyDeleteThey were very cute together. It was great to watch Bella run with such abandon like that.
