One thing I miss with Bella is being able to get these shots because we're just not out there the same way Beau and I were. He was 100% reliable, 110% trust-worthy.
Thanks. We thought he was a handsome fella. I hope I can write about him - it's always been a little difficult. I'm hoping to 'get it all out' over the next couple of weeks...
He sure looks wise and handsome!
ReplyDeletelovely view he has...and the name is quite fitting as well:)
ReplyDeletecan't wait to hear more!
What a sweet looking boy! Can't wait to hear more about him!
ReplyDeleteHey Beau,

Your pal Snoopy :)
What a lovely shot of Beau! Can't wait to hear more about this handsome guy!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful boy! He looks so at home in the woods
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
What a sweet shot ;)
ReplyDeleteBeau looks like King of the Hill looking out over his woodland wonderland.
ReplyDeletethat's a nice calm moment you captured there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture! Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like the sort of bloke you could depend on :-) Deccy x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dog. comfortable spot in the shade
ReplyDeleteA very handsome boy! Can't wait to hear more about Beau.
ReplyDelete"Wise." He was, indeed. Remarkably so. :)
ReplyDeleteIt'll be hard for me to write about him but I think it's time...
That wasn't his ordinary view - we were hiking together - but he did used to 'survey his domain'. :)
ReplyDeleteHe was special. I'm looking forward to telling his story.
ReplyDeleteLOL - the world. He thought he owned it. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks. The subject is everything sometimes, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThanks. He really was.
ReplyDeleteHe grew up in the woods - and was hiking with me before he was a year old. He was an amazing partner.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I miss with Bella is being able to get these shots because we're just not out there the same way Beau and I were. He was 100% reliable, 110% trust-worthy.
ReplyDeleteThat was on a back-packing trip he and I took to Maine. Just 3 days but it was heaven.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, Jen! And thanks.
ReplyDeleteAnd then some, Deccy, and then some. (He is still missed. Desperately.)
ReplyDeleteThank you (and thanks for visiting!) We were hiking in the Maine woods. Talk about heaven on earth. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. We thought he was a handsome fella. I hope I can write about him - it's always been a little difficult. I'm hoping to 'get it all out' over the next couple of weeks...
ReplyDeleteYup - he was "king of all he surveyed". Talk about "alpha" in the purest sense of the word. Everyone was calmer when he was around. ;)
ReplyDeleteAh I think he must be the chap you mentioned before. Your Beau is my Flynn - both very difficult for Bella and Deccy to live up to?!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!!!
ReplyDelete~Higgins
That would be him. I like to think Bella and Deccy have only themselves to live up to - they're one of a kind(s). :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Higgins and Patrice. :hugs:
ReplyDeleteHe was... this means... he's gone?!?
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't wait to read about him. It hurts to lose a pet. And I certainly would love to hear more about Beau.
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
You can say that again! But we wouldn't swap them for the world eh?!
ReplyDeleteHi Haopee, yes, sadly, Beau left us in 2008. It still hurts. He was a good dog and I'm looking forward to telling you his story.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing photo, in so many ways. Reminds me so much of the lab we had growing up. I miss her.
ReplyDeleteHi ingrid, thanks for visiting. We all seem to have "one of those dogs" in our history, somewhere, don't we?
