Well, Happy St. Paddy's Day, boys and girls! I hope everyone has been enjoying their holiday. (I'm not exactly Irish but I live in Massachusetts so it's kind of honorary.)
Today I thought I'd share some good news today about 2 "Saturday's dogs" who've had a little 'luck of the Irish' directed their way - they've been adopted!
Althea and
Sasha, 2 dogs featured here in January 2012 have both gone to their forever homes and we couldn't be happier for them!

Thanks for spreading the word about these two active and clever girls. We knew they'd find a wonderful family to call their own and we wish them all the best in their new lives!
Well that's wonderful news, so it is! Deccy x
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Althea and Sasha! Nothing like having a furever home, right? Enjoy today, it is going to be summer!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Yay for Althea and Sasha!! Hope you had a great St. Patty's Day! I still have James Taylor's song in my head. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's the kind of news you like to hear!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the both of them! They're pretty girls, and I'm sure their families are very happy!
ReplyDeleteHooray! I love happy endings!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!! That's fantastic news!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a fab weekend!!
Your pal Snoopy :)
:)
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but I get so many emails and see so many facebook posts about lost dogs and urgent rescues but I seldom see any follow up to know what happened to them. So this is my attempt to make sure this Saturday's dog thing doesn't become just another drain on everyone's psyche. I think it's really important to hear the good news sometimes.
Thanks Mango! Wasn't today FABulous?!?! 2 weeks ago we had 10 inches of snow. Today, the spring peepers are chirping and my crocus are bursting forth in all their glory. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL - sorry about that. It's not a bad song to have in your head though (as long as you know more than just the chorus. ;) St. Paddy's day (requisite Massachusetts spelling) was grand and the weather here has been just fantastic. What a great time to be alive. :)
ReplyDeleteThought that might make folks feel good about things. :)
ReplyDeleteI think their new families are very lucky. They both stole my heart in a matter of minutes. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too, Rumpy, me too. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad they got homes! I love Sasha's face
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
Wooohooooo!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Snoopy - our weekend was fabulous - it seems spring has arrived in force here and we've been having a blast out in the yard. :) Hope your's was equally enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteIsn't she a cutie? I never noticed the size difference until I put the two pictures side by side and realized they were both posing with the same ball. Wow!
ReplyDeleteAlways happy to share the good news when I know it. :)
