Wordless Wednesday 11 - A Boy and His (Auntie's) Dog


Edited to add: This is my nephew Jared (about 3 1/2 years old, I think) with my Lab, Beau (I'm gonna have to say 12/13 weeks old). Given Beau's age, this picture would have been taken in the June of 1994 (so apparently we didn't remove leaves from this property - 6 acres of mostly woods, compliance was futile.)  This is one of a series and will be revisited from time to time.

    You know, I thought I should say something but then, it's supposed to be "Wordless" Wednesday so I didn't...  :O

    This is my nephew Jared (now 20, gosh, I hope I have that right) and my Beau. My dad used to babysit the boys and Beau when both were just babies and always had a camera in his hands.

    Nothing like a kid and a fur-baby romping in the leaves even if it was 20 years ago.  Sniffs, The HoundDogs

    I almost called this "A boy and his (auntie's) dog" but yeah, it's a favorite.
