Bella is just so cute. She has the most unique markings! I love how her tail is all blurred in the photo. Something pretty important has clearly caught her attention.
Hi Bert! (Are you Bert of http://fourleggedviews.blogspot.com/ fame?)
I'm not sure if Maggie (the Golden) is chewing on a rock in this pic or bracing herself for a Bella onslaught but one way or another they are definitely in eat or play mode. Thanks for visiting.
Bella's friend, Maggie, will end up featured here pretty regularly as she's our next door neighbor and Bella's BFF. Although there's been a bit of a falling out over growing up - we're working that out.
It's funny, for a scared-y dog, Bella's tail seldom stops wagging. :)
Thanks for stopping by. Been reading posts on your blog from Twitter for a while now but just starting to figure out who's who and how to follow an actual blog. Love your Bella. :)
Me again, Leslie:) I couldn't find a contact email for you so excuse this in the comments! I've downloaded Gimp and got it installed properly this time and am wondering if you figured out how to use it all by yourself or did you find a tutorial online? It looks like a huge learning curve to me!
Hi Sue - No worries. In fact, thanks for the heads up - I probably should have thought of putting an email address somewhere - I'll put that up shortly.
The GIMP.org tutorials are probably the best you'll find out here: http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/ (if you can tolerate the gray and orange color scheme - ack!) They are arranged by beginner/intermediate etc.
However, you'll probably want to get there from http://gimpology.com/ (a beginner's guide on page 67 directs you back to gimp.org but I couldn't find this tutorial listed there: http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/Lite_Quickies/ ) There seem to be many, many more tutorials offered there than on gimp.org. You can also find some tutorials on youtube which can be helpful if you're a 'learn by watching' type.
Of course, if you have specific questions, I'm more than happy to answer them, but there's also a forum: http://www.gimptalk.com where people help each other out. Good luck! (Sorry for the book...)
What you two lookin at? Can you eat it or play with it?
ReplyDeleteBert
Bella and her friend look like they're enjoying their down time. Love Bella's wagging tail:)

Hi Kristine! Thanks for stopping by. I've been admiring your work with Shiva for quite some time. You've done an amazing job with her.
ReplyDeleteIt's ridiculous how Bella's tail is always wagging. I also think she believes puppy-play-bow is a standard pose - seems she's in it all. the. time. :)
So adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Pup Fan,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Been reading posts on your blog from Twitter for a while now but just starting to figure out who's who and how to follow an actual blog. Love your Bella. :)
Did you find any 4 leaf clovers? Or just have a good roll in the grass!
ReplyDeleteWyatt
Hi Wyatt! Bella and Maggie had good romps and rolls. No four leaf clovers but we continue to look. :)

Wow, that's very comprehensive, thanks Leslie! I'll have no excuses, will I! Just need the time now:)
ReplyDeleteHope that was a bit much. I suspect I will soon earn a reputation for geekiness but I just can't help myself.
ReplyDeleteSo, what's this "time" you speak of anyway. ;)
